The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) has announced open house and dedication dates for the Kansas City Missouri Temple.
The public is invited to visit the temple during an open house from Saturday, 7 April 2012 until Saturday, 21 April, 2012, excluding Sundays. Free tickets will be distributed for the open house; details will be made available in the coming weeks. The temple will be formally dedicated on Sunday, 6 May 2012.
In conjunction with the dedication of the temple, there will also be a cultural celebration featuring music and dance on Saturday, 5 May 2012.
